eXp Is Changing the Real Estate Industry Again: Welcome to the AGNT Era

Real estate is changing quickly, and eXp Realty continues to position itself at the center of that change.

In 2026, eXp’s parent company entered a new chapter. Formerly known as eXp World Holdings, Inc., the company is now AGNT, Inc., trading on Nasdaq under the ticker symbol AGNT.

But this is much more than a name change.

The moves AGNT and eXp Realty have made in 2026 point toward a much bigger vision: creating a global real estate platform that gives agents, teams, brokers and entrepreneurs more ways to build their businesses.

For those of us at Weber Global eXp, that’s exciting because we believe the traditional real estate brokerage model is changing — and the agents who recognize that change early may have an enormous advantage.

Record Revenue: $1.4 Billion in Q2 2026

AGNT reported record second-quarter 2026 revenue of $1.4 billion, an increase of approximately 11% compared with the same quarter a year earlier.

The numbers behind that growth are equally impressive.

At the end of the quarter, the AGNT platform included approximately 87,338 agents and brokers worldwide, representing 6% year-over-year growth. Real estate transactions increased approximately 12% to 132,497 transactions, while sales volume increased approximately 15% to $60.5 billion.

These results are especially significant considering the challenges the overall housing industry has faced from affordability concerns, interest rates and changing consumer behavior.

The takeaway is simple: growth isn’t coming from agent count alone. Productivity matters.

eXp Realty CEO Leo Pareja emphasized that increasing transactions per agent and strong retention among productive agents are helping drive the company’s growth.

That’s important.

The future of real estate isn’t about building the biggest collection of agents. It’s about giving productive agents the technology, training, support, compensation opportunities and systems they need to build bigger businesses.

eXp World Holdings Becomes AGNT, Inc.

The change from eXp World Holdings to AGNT, Inc. reflects something larger happening inside the organization.

eXp Realty remains the flagship brokerage, but the parent company is becoming a broader platform serving multiple real estate business models.

The company’s Nasdaq ticker officially changed from EXPI to AGNT in May 2026.

AGNT now serves as the parent organization for businesses including eXp Realty, NextHome, SUCCESS Enterprises and FrameVR.

Rather than forcing every real estate professional into one business model, AGNT is developing an ecosystem designed to support independent agents, teams, franchise owners and brokerage entrepreneurs.

That’s a significant departure from the traditional real estate company.

The NextHome Acquisition Changes the Equation

One of the biggest moves of 2026 was the acquisition of NextHome, a national real estate franchise organization with more than 500 franchise locations across the United States.

Historically, eXp Realty has been known for its cloud-based brokerage model.

NextHome adds another dimension: franchising.

That means the larger AGNT platform can now support both agents who want to operate within eXp’s cloud-based brokerage and entrepreneurs who prefer the traditional franchise ownership model.

Rather than believing there is only one way to build a real estate company, AGNT is creating multiple paths.

For ambitious agents and team leaders, that could create substantially more opportunities over time.

From Delaware to Texas

Another major corporate change occurred in 2026 when shareholders approved moving the company’s state of incorporation from Delaware to Texas.

The redomestication became effective in June 2026.

While this change does not alter the everyday relationship between an eXp agent and his or her clients, it is another indication that AGNT is willing to rethink conventional corporate structures as the company continues to evolve.

eXp Expands “Coming Soon” Listing Exposure

One of the most interesting developments for agents — and especially for sellers — involves listing distribution.

Beginning in April 2026, eXp Realty gave agents the ability, with seller authorization and subject to local MLS rules, to syndicate eligible “Coming Soon” listings to:

Realtor.comHomes.comComeHome.com

Most importantly, the program is non-exclusive.

The philosophy behind the strategy is simple: if a seller wants exposure, why artificially limit the number of consumers who can see the property?

In an industry where some companies are attempting to keep pre-market listings inside private networks, eXp has taken a different approach.

More exposure. More transparency. More consumer choice.

For sellers, that’s an important distinction.

Why These Changes Matter to Real Estate Agents

There are thousands of real estate companies.

Choosing where to hang your license shouldn’t simply be about a logo on a business card.

Today’s agent should be asking bigger questions.

Does my brokerage help me build a business I actually own?

Can I create multiple sources of income?

Can I build an organization beyond my local market?

Do I have access to modern technology?

Can I attract agents outside my city — or even outside my state?

Does my brokerage reward me when I help grow the company?

Can my business grow without adding massive overhead?

Those questions are part of the reason we created Weber Global eXp.

Why We Created Weber Global

After decades in real estate, one thing becomes very clear:

The business never stops changing.

The agents who struggle are often the ones trying to run tomorrow’s business using yesterday’s model.

Weber Global was created for agents who see where the industry is headed.

We believe successful agents need more than a commission split. They need systems, marketing, technology, training, administrative support, leadership and a business model capable of creating opportunities beyond the next transaction.

Our goal isn’t simply to recruit agents.

We want to help good agents build extraordinary businesses.

That includes helping agents understand modern lead generation, YouTube, personal branding, database marketing, systems, team building and the opportunities available through the eXp platform.

eXp Realty Is Still eXp Realty

There’s one point worth making very clear.

eXp Realty has not disappeared.

The brokerage remains eXp Realty.

AGNT, Inc. is the publicly traded parent company overseeing a growing family of businesses and real estate models.

In fact, AGNT leadership has described eXp Realty as the engine of the larger platform.

And with record quarterly revenue, rising transaction volume, growing sales volume, the NextHome acquisition and continued investment in technology and agent productivity, that engine appears to be gaining momentum.

The Bigger Question: Where Do You Want Your Business to Be Five Years From Now?

Real estate agents are entrepreneurs.

Unfortunately, too many agents spend their entire careers concentrating only on the next listing, the next buyer or the next commission check.

There’s another way to look at the business.

What are you actually building?

What will your business be worth five years from now?

Are you creating leverage?

Are you building recurring income?

Are you creating a brand?

Are you developing systems that allow your business to grow beyond you?

Those are the conversations we’re having at Weber Global eXp.

The changes happening inside eXp and AGNT aren’t simply corporate headlines.

They’re evidence that the real estate business model itself is evolving.

And for agents willing to think bigger, that creates opportunity.

Welcome to the next chapter of real estate.

Welcome to Weber Global eXp.
